Details: Hey CL I´ve got a 1987 Mercedes Benz 190e 16v 2.3 L 4 cylinder, automatic transmission. To start off the car does NOT run as is, I was told the flywheel and or starter need to be replaced, I do have the starter and the flywheel I dont have time or the right resources to do it myself.The motor has been completely rebuilt, the bottom end has new pistons, rings and rods, the cylinder head visibly brand new and has a web cam shaft in it.. the valve cover is painted lime green. Has brand new spark plugs and oil filter and water pump on it. All done professionally by auto metrics a while back.Currently has 92,XXX miles on it. Sitting on H&R struts, street level minor drop , doesn´t scrape or bounce what so ever. The struts them selves are 700$. It has disc brakes all the way around which was not a standard back in ´87. It also has powered locks, windows, sunroof, and seats once again also not a standard back then.Interior is pretty much mint condition besides a small tear in the drivers seat, the car has been very well maintained over the years, original gunmetal paint starting to peel on the hood, will need a respray. The driver door looks like it got ran down a guard rail or something (previous owner) I bought it in when I was in L.A. about 6 years ago. Has had 3 owners so far. Windows are professionally tinted no air bubbles or anything, factory fog lights bright yellow, it is wired for a subs, also has 2 9´inch infinity speakers in the back and alpine in the front, no stereo it was stolen after being parked in my friends alley for not even 5 minutes.. nothing else was tampered with. The car is sitting on stock wheels not the ones in the picture, I do have a set of wheels off of a 1998 CLK 320 with brand new nexen tires with less than 30 miles on them, still have nipples on them no camber wear or anything, tires alone were 600, I´m willing to part with them for the right price. I have a lot of spare parts I´ve collected over the years, fenders, hood, doors, etc basically everything you´d need if you were going to paint it. Details: This is a import car from germany really cool to own just dont have enough room too many cars asking $3,900 O.B.O because the transmission is in mid condition still runs strong every gear grabs just the reverse is not to strong but it does reverse. It is automatic has great tires good tabs driveable it runs but has a problem with the gas pump it catches air in the tank and it could turn off any mechanic can fix it. its an easy fix has a nice cd player with aux,usb, and mp3 has a 5 cd changer in the back has a v6 with 175,000 miles on it still young. Details: This is a turbo Diesel wagon with overdrive. It has three rows of seats. It starts easily and seems to run well. My plan was to retro fit it for bio-diesel. However other projects took precedence and it is time for this to go. It does have a couple of issues: The rear suspension needs work. From what I understand this is an air bladder suspension. I took it to a local Mercedes mechanic who told me that it needs new air bladders and rear bushings. It is drivable, but probably not a good idea to drive a long distance or make a daily driver until this is fixed. One rear window does not roll down. I do have a replacement motor that goes with the car. There is a dent in the drivers´ side door that does not affect the function of the door. It has a new battery. The interior is in great shape. The body other than the dent mentioned above is in good shape. I would like to get $3,000 for this car. Respond by email and leave your number and I can answer questions.
