Joe With The Kung-Fu Grip...it´s got everything. Last month, my fan clutch bearing went out, and the fan shot into the radiator. I replaced the radiator, water pump (just because it was easy at this point), fan, and fan clutch. Parts for Mercedes are inexpensive and readily available; don´t let any know-it-alls tell you otherwise. Just like for every other vehicle on the planet, you can´t buy parts at the dealer. At any rate, these parts are all new. It´s got nearly brand-new tires and a new fuel filter, too. I like this car very much, but I´m trying to purchase a home and need as much money as possible to put down to get the best rate. I´m very happy with the car, but my ´96 Passat diesel gets 53 mpg, so it´s back to shifting gears and giving up on luxury. I hope that this car makes the next owner as happy as it made me. Problems: surface rust around wheel wells and under doors (see pictures), radio volume sometimes goes up when you try to turn it down too fast, climate control screen is hard to read, leather around steering wheel is torn. And it´s slow! Geez it´s slow, but it does get awesome mileage. $4800. Firm price. I think that´s fair considering that the KBB retail value is $7800.
