Details: Here is the story on this wagon..... I bought it from some people down in Georgia. I have always had good luck buying used cars and am very careful but, got taken on this one. I was told what great condition it was in and that the mileage was original. I started going through the maintenance records and the lady I bought it from took them out of my hand and started showing me specific ones....´let me show you what we had done´. Well, she distracted me and it worked. Otherwise, I would have figured out that the odometer stopped working 7 years ago. The car didn´t even make it home. The car runs fantastic..... when it runs. The body and interior are in very good condition and it has a very comfortable third seat in the back. The interior has no rips or tears and everything works. However, it has an electrical short somewhere and my mechanic can´t figure it out. I have the title signed over to me but have never had it put in my name because it has not run more than a few hours at a time since I bought it. It keeps blowing the alternator and the battery. I put all my money into this car and am a single mom. Since I bought this, I bought another old clunker car and it is also for sale because I was unable to register it. I am hoping I can recoup some of what I have spent, that maybe my luck will turn around and I can find a car that I can drive to work. Details: Alright folks. I´m selling my ´91 Mercedes 300SL 2 door sports coupe. This is the best body style ever, and comes with a great little 3 liter six cylinder engine. Black with dove gray leather. This model has the removable hard top, and has an almost new convertible top. It runs as smooth as a sewing machine. Occasionally have to clean out the fuel injectors or have them adjusted, but that´s about it. Exterior is in very good condition for the year, as is interior. Some small paint chips and a ´scrub´ (left rear lower quarter in the light gray area) that was on it when I bought it is all. The leather is nice and has no rips or tears. A little wear where the driver slides in and out - but you´ll find that on any leather interior that has been driven. Best of all is this car has 78,000 miles on it. I bought it 3 1/2 years ago with 48,500 miles and have driven it since then. It was my daily driver for about 3 years and now I´ve replaced it. I buy older cars like this and drive them for a couple of years and sell them because I can get a really nice ride at a really nice price. Since buying the car and putting my 30,000 miles on it, I´ve put in a new Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth (original Mercedes radio will be included), new battery, done some repair on the keyless entry, replaced the headliner and replaced a power antenna mast. Other than normal maintenance (full synthetic oil), that´s it. The car has good tires and a nice set of updated MB wheels.You can buy it for $8,495!Interested in taking a look and a drive?
