Details: You´re looking at a 1980 Mercedes wagon that can run on veggie oil or diesel. I´ve been running these cars for over 5 years on what´s called the diesel secret method. Basically you cut the wvo or waste veggie oil with diesel, kerosene, and gas. There´s no need to run the dual kits in these cars, mine´s ran strong and 1000´s of miles for free! If you buy this one, I´ll show you how I filter my used oil and how to make it run in the car! The paint job is a very expensive job and the car looks brand new. The interior is in great shape other than the passengers front seat and I have a spare you can put in that has no rips or tears. Tires are in great shape, the engine runs great, overall it´s a great veggie car that can save you TONS of money and you can haul lots of things. Go to ebay and see what these cars go for, sometimes up to 13,000.00. My price is semi-firm. Wait til´ you see how this one looks and drives! AC will need work, it´s missing the belt so I can only assume it will need a compressor. The windows rolled up and down when I bought it, but have since decided to work only sometimes. Most likely I will fix them before the car is sold, it´s usually fuses or the window switches themselves. It doesn´t seem to leak a lot of anything like most my others do. I had a transmission installed less than 3 months ago and it shifts quickly for some reason, I never got it adjusted, I just simply shift it manually by moving the gear shift and it works great. Someone who tinkers with these will know what to do I´m sure. I play around with them an know how to tweak them. You Tube is a gold mine of information for working on these. The Car looks amazing and a real head turner, Drives great, Super Sharp car. This car is made to be driven! It hates it when you don´t and just leave it in the garage to take out on those nice days. It wants to be out there and perform for you and once you get behind the wheel of this car, it proves it. So don´t let the mileage (150K) on this Mercedes fool you when looking at other Mercedes with less mileage. Those cars aren´t being driven like they should be and IN THE LONG RUN; this can be more harm down the road than good. Anyone who knows Mercedes knows mileage doesn´t matter as these cars are built to LAST! I´ve owned these cars for 25 years and my oldest one, has twice as many miles as this one and it is still running strong with no end in sight. Now what you want to know -- This car is fully loaded as you all know. It has original paint with a great wet look when washed, a few scuffs or scratches is normal with this 12 year old car, but nothing that a little touch up paint or good wax buffing couldn´t get rid of, but that´s why we drive them! It has perfect carpets, headliner, front and rear seats. The interior including all the wood trims is in excellent condition, engine bay and boot (with CD changer) will be fully detailed. All aluminum rims looks new; a few scratches on them, but for $75 you can get each rim resurfaced and they look BRAND NEW. These AMG wheels give this car a very quiet ride and the suspension works perfectly in all settings, rear sun shade, moon roof, folding mirrors, air conditioned and heated front seats, park assist front and rear, front memory seats, navigation system. Powerful five liters engine with smooth shifting transmission. The flagship of the Mercedes line and it shows. Service at the dealer was done as required and regular intervals, car purchased in Arlington TX, then re-register in TN, owner since 2005. 150K highway miles commuting bi-monthly between Nashville TN and Indianapolis IN. Even with this is, it only averages 12,500 miles a year. All books are included and in perfect condition as well as the GPS navigation CD´s. Clean title! The tools for the spare tire are in the trunk and have been used maybe once. The RESERVE price is very reasonable and under KBB considering the quality of this automobile. Details: Yes, this 1982 300D Turbo has just 52K original miles since new and is every bit as clean as it looks in the photos, if not cleaner. This vehicle is finished in Champagne Metallic over Palomino MB Tex interior. It has been garage kept and only driven occasionally in nice weather since. This is the first year for the highly desirable Turbocharged diesel engine in the W123 chassis and is regarded as possibly the best engine Mercedes-Benz ever built. The previous owner of this car is an avid car collector and the mileage of this vehicle is 100% guaranteed to be accurate. The car has been cared for like a child throughout its life and was admittedly difficult to obtain from this fanatic owner. The vehicle is in incredibly original condition including the original radio in excellent working order (I have had an amplified Alpine system with subwoofer installed with new speakers and still have the original if you prefer), original floor mats, original unused first aid kit, original spare never on the ground, original jack with instructions, and the holy grail, the original tool kit still in the original plastic bag (the bag has been opened). The car also comes with the car cover under which it has been stored most all of its life, as well as all original manuals, service booklet with a lot of dealer service stamps, some additional service records, original stamped warranty plate, and more all in the original plastic pouch. The vehicle looks, runs, and drives incredibly with no known problems or issues. I have had the car completely gone through to make sure all items are in proper working order including all windows, locks, sunroof, climate control, even the power antenna. The one noticeable upgrade to the vehicle are the very expensive and attractive European headlights which the previous owner installed shortly after purchasing the car in 1984. I have had the US headlights replaced to the car and still have the European lights. The body of the vehicle is in near perfect condition with no dings, dents, scrapes, or noticeable scratches to be found. The glass, door seals, and chrome trim are all in excellent condition with no pitting or tarnishing that I could easily notice. The interior shows excellent with no real signs of wear that I could find anywhere. The carpets, upholstery, dash pad, headliner, seat springs etc are all in like new condition. The wood is in great shape with only a few minor lacquer cracks near the window switches as shown in the photos. The wheels are in great shape and have had dust covers inside to keep them from pitting. The tires are Michelin all around and in great shape. I have had a new heavy duty alternator and new AC compressor installed.
