Details: 1975 Mercedes 450 SL. V8, automatic transmission. It´s a running car and it needs a decent amount of work to be 100% again. It´s a perfect candidate for a restoration, but would also make a good parts car. The body is pretty straight, and the lights/bumpers and most of the trim is in tact. There is rust under the car. The right front fender and the hood are beat up; a tree fell on it last winter. The engine runs fine, it´s been fairly well maintained in terms of tuneups and oil changes, etc. The transmission shifts with no problems, over all it runs pretty well. The main problem it has in terms of drive-ability are the exhaust manifolds. They are both cracked and so the car is quite loud.I´ll add more information to this listing over the next few days, but email me if you´re seriously interested. Gold sedan I changed glow plugs, adjusted the valves, pulled all injectors to replace washers. Have not gotten back together,. also needs a vacum modulator for trans. other wise ran like a bat outa hell. Rare black leather interior. Those who know about the 5 cyl mercedes turbo diesel, these things are tanks! I would sell all 3 with offers starting near 2000.00 for all. They are the only shop that services my vehicle and I have a complete history of service papers for verification. The interior is mint and the exterior has a few very minor scratches (on the roof, caused by a carwash) which would be expected of a 2005. All 4 tires AND brakes replaced within the last 6 months. The car has sport and comfort modes and tiptronic shifting if you desire to use this feature.The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system delivers power to all four wheels. It´s fully automatic and on all the time, so there are no buttons to push and no special operating instructions to follow. The system uses electronic traction control to vary torque among each of the four wheels, diverting power to the tires with the best grip. Even if three wheels lose traction, 4MATIC can direct power to the one remaining tire with grip. The result is better stability and improved handling in slippery conditions with a greatly reduced chance of getting stuck. Details: For sale is my 1995 c36 AMG. These cars are very rare, and are a future classic. Only 400 were imported to America in 1995. My c36 has 111,378 miles and has been meticulously maintained. Oil was changed every 3,000 miles with full synthetic lubro moly, powersteering and break fluids were always taken care of. The car runs perfectly and the interior is in excellent shape; was never smoked in, no cracks or rips in the leather. The transmission was just rebuilt and has less than 100 miles on it. One small flaw with the car is that there is some clear coat peeling on the passenger side. I am only letting this car go because I need to pay my way through graduate school.
