Details: Here´s whats up about this car. No BS... just what I know since I´ve had it. It´s a 1998 C280. White with beige/cream interior. Cons:Needs detailing/ re-upholstered. Two drill holes need bondo on trunk lid (someone put a wing on it... I took it off because it looked stupid but I still have the wing *see pic below for example)Decent paint despite a few rusted chips here and there. Nothing serious. I had plans to repaint it after getting new bumper coversHasn´t been inspected because there is an electrical issue in the turn signals... probably the switch in the dash. (I disconnect the battery when I´m not driving the car because it draws juice from the electrical problem in the turn signals even when the car is off)The glass has light spray paint on it (needs to be removed w/ thinner) and a poorly tint removal job (probably had illegal tint)I tore the stereo components out because they didnt work (its ready for new install)Might wanna replace the master window control in center console (priced at $40 on ebay)Has a minor dent in passenger door (can probably be pulled out)Needs two new engine mounts (car shakes only in idle) May be the idler pulley but I doubt it because it will start the shake again around 75-80mph. (Mounts are priced at $50 each on ebay)220K Miles (mostly highway)... but its a benz. They usually last over 300K.Corner is busted on back bumper (I ghetto cleaned that up with white fiber tape. Priced new bumpers at around $100 each)Probably needs new plugs and wires. I dont use the power sunroof because of the short in the turn-signals... afraid it might open and not close on me one day.PRO´s:Strong EngineStrong TransmissionHeat and A/CI personally flushed the engine and replaced the oil.Smooth rideFlashy with chrome accents. Good tires, brakes and battery.Power leather seats and power sunroof.Changed the fuses and relay box fuses in trunk.Has the Euro Grill (Big Mercedes emblem in front grill instead of the hood)I have extra replacement emblem for grillBOSE SpeakersThis car has some life left if the right person gets a hold of it. I am really back and forth about selling it. Its a cool car with some potential to be a nice car for another 60-80 thousand milesYou get what you pay for is what I learned. I also have a lien on this car that needs to be paid off. $1600 to release the title. If you have knowledge in electrical issues... by all means, give me a call. But dont call if you want to haggle. I don´t have the time and I have to travel to another location to show it to you. So dont even inquire if you dont have the money please. It is what it is. I´d say another $500 would work out most of the kinks if you got it to spend. Make me a reasonable offer and I might consider putting money in to release the title. Will depend on what I have in my bank account at the time and what mood i´m in that day. I haven´t taken any pics of the car yet because its currently parked on Afton, Mtn in a safe spot.
