Details: PLEASE NOTE: I´ve decided to get the clear coat and windshield issues fixed before I actually sell the car. The price will remain the same. $7,500 FIRMJust in time for spring & summer, I´m selling a really nice ´adult owned and driven´ red 2000 Mercedes Benz SLK230 Kompressor convertible with 94,000 miles on it. The black interior is very clean, no rips or tears at all. The center console is grey carbon fiber. There are no cracks on the dashboard. The exterior is also very nice with the exception of a small portion of the clear coat on the roof panel right over the front windshield which needs to be re-done. There are no dings on the body anywhere. The only other flaw in the car is a ding about the size of a nickle in the windshield where it got hit by a stone. (about $50 to fix) ... It has new tires (last summer) and newly (professionally) refinished wheels (also last summer). It also has a great sounding Sony aftermarket cd / stereo and it´s pre-wired for SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Everything in the car works great. The car runs perfectly, it´s FAST and it gets GREAT GAS MILEAGE. There are no mechanical issues with it whatsoever. Every bit of scheduled maintenance has been done on this car for as long as I´ve owned it. The oil has always been changed at recommended intervals with MOBIL 1 synthetic oil and it´s always been run on name-brand premium gasoline. The car has an automatic transmission, heated seats, power windows & door locks which all work perfectly. The power convertible hardtop works flawlessly. I´m only selling the car due to back & hip problems which make it a little difficult for me to get in and out of it. The car was purchased new at Mercedes-Benz Of Princeton and has always been maintained by Certified Mercedes-Benz technicicians.. The navy blue interior is absolutely perfect, no fades or rips. The seats and carpet are like new; soft and comfortable the wood is unblemished and its finish is clear and shiny. It has the original owners manual and documentation, first-aid kit and Mercedes tool kit. The original Becker radio and electric antenna are in working condition. The trunk is equally clean; no blemishes on the carpets or the trim. The soft top was just replaced with correct German Canvas top. Car also has the original color matching hardtop. The car underwent 100K servicing several month ago. Fluids changed (brake, antifreeze, transmission, and differential) along with plugs and wires, cap and rotor. Tires and brakes are like new. I just replaced the fuel pump, filter and fuel tank exit hose; additionally the front shocks and complete stabilizer bushings. This 380SL Idles smooth, accelerates without hesitation, shifting automatically with ease through every gear. The Car passed NJ inspection and emissions and has current registration.
